The records available here consist primarily of photographs, slides, pamphlets, and promotional materials from or about the following: Hydrospace Technical Institute (HTI) founded in 1968, which became the School of Marine and Environmental Technology (SOMET) in 1972/1973, and the Jensen Beach Campus, where the program was based from 1973-1986. When the Jensen Beach Campus closed in 1986, its programs were relocated to the Melbourne campus and most were incorporated into the newly formed Division of Marine and Environmental Systems (DMES). In August 2016, DMES changed to the Department of Ocean Engineering and Sciences (DOES). Complete collection guides to the archival holdings can be found here.
